The plenary session, which was attended by more than 50 participants, was opened by the rector of the KNUBA, Oleksiy Dniprov. The speakers paid much attention to issues related to the restoration of buildings and structures destroyed as a result of armed aggression and to various aspects of the use of building information modeling to solve complex, atypical tasks.
The forum was addressed by Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technologies in Architecture Oleksiy Levchenko and Professor of the Department of Water Supply and Sewerage Olena Duplyak, who reported on the transformation of the educational process as a result of the introduction of BIM into education, spoke about the participation of KNUBA teachers in the international Erasmus+ The Bridge project and presented its results. The attendees were interested in the content of the interdisciplinary educational and scientific program Building and Architectural Information Modeling, BIM Process Management, which was launched at the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology, and learning technologies that allow students to acquire practical skills in using BIM-oriented software. In addition, microqualification programs were presented, which provide an opportunity to master software for designing and performing calculations of building microclimate systems in the Linear REVIT environment and design buildings using LIRA-FEM software, and check the strength and deformability of building structures.
