Recently, scientists from the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (USUST) – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vladyslav Danishevskyi; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Denys Volchok; PhD, Associate Professor Artem Sopilniak; PhD, Associate Professor Kostiantyn Dikarev; and Associate Professor Viacheslav Chaban – had the opportunity to enhance their skills in the field of BIM technologies by participating in a training program at the Warsaw University of Technology. They successfully completed the course and received certificates for 45 hours (1.5 ECTS credits).

The training for our scientists took place as part of The BRIDGE project, which aims to bridge the gap between education and industry, as well as to promote green jobs and digital skills in the construction industry in Ukraine.
Participation in this training marks another step for USUST in improving the quality of education and preparing highly qualified specialists capable of effectively applying modern BIM technologies in construction. International cooperation and knowledge exchange play a key role in this process.

The training, held from February 10 to 16, 2025, combined theoretical lectures with practical sessions. The practical component involved direct engagement with software developers, distributors, engineers, and project managers from leading companies that utilize advanced construction information technologies. Participants worked on designing various buildings and structures, analyzing their structural elements, studying BIM management processes, and exploring the fundamentals of BIM 4D.

Special thanks go to the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, Professor Andrzej Garbacz; the Deputy Dean for Research, Professor Artur Zbiciak; and the main organizer of the training, Professor Nabi Ibadov, for their invaluable support.
