On February 14, an online meeting of lecturers of the Department of Building Structures and Bridges of the Institute of Construction and Engineering Systems of Lviv Polytechnic with representatives of design companies working in the field of BIM was held, during which the new master's program "Building Information Modelling (BIM technologies)" was presented. The program was developed within the framework of the international Erasmus+ KA2 project "Bridging the gap between university and industry: an innovative master's program that supports the development of green jobs and digital skills in the Ukrainian construction sector" (The BRIDGE).

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Powerkh company Yevhen Surzhan and the BES company Andriy Dzyudzia, as well as members of the working group of the Department of Building Structures and Bridges of IBIS Roman Khmil, Serhiy Bula and Maksym Lobodanov.

The main attention of the meeting participants was focused on the specifics of the program implementation, as well as on the involvement of future employers in the educational process. The possibilities of holding open lectures, seminars, involving students in industrial practices and internships were discussed. The issue of expanding cooperation at the bachelor's level was also raised in order to form the necessary competencies at the initial stages of training. The meeting participants confirmed a high level of interest in specialists who possess BIM technologies and a willingness to promote their professional training. Following the results of the discussion, possible areas of further cooperation between the University and companies were outlined, in particular through joint educational initiatives, industrial internships, holding modelling competitions and the participation of business in the development of educational materials.
