The Department of Architectural Design of Civil Buildings and Structures of the Faculty of Architecture of the KNUBA held a discussion of the features of the implementation of new design methods, computer technologies, software complexes and BIM technologies in architectural design, in particular, in master's qualification works.
Associate Professor of the Department of Architectural Design of Civil Buildings and Structures, Candidate of Architecture Kashchenko Tetyana presented information about participation in practical trainings on the development of a 3D model of a building using Revit software and energy modeling using TerMus BIM, as well as about professional communication with UNISANNIO university teachers, acquaintance with scientific laboratories of hydraulics and building materials, an experimental energy-efficient building, and experience in the practical application of green roofs in buildings on the university campus.
The training was held at the University of Sannio (UNISANNIO), Benevento, Italy, within the framework of the implementation of the European Union's ERASMUS International Cooperation Program project "The BRIDGE" ("Bridging the gap between university and industry: Master Curricular Supporting the Development of Green Jobs and Digital Skills in the Ukrainian Building Sector"). A number of KNUBA departments participate in the program: heating engineering, water supply and wastewater treatment, building mechanics, the department of information technologies in architecture, and architectural design of civil buildings and structures.
The use of software and modeling in the BIM environment is becoming increasingly important in the training of masters of architecture and the research work of postgraduate students.
